I enjoyed the film SICKO by Michael Moore mainly because it contrasted the difference between the United States and Canadian health care so much! The United States have private health care, which means that they pay for hospital bills right out of their pockets, or on a credit card. What really rattled my brain a little was the fact that about 50 million americans have NO health insurance! and by having no health insurance you would have to pay for EVERYTHING. Studies show that about 18,000 people die every year in the USA because they have no health care. I couldn't imagine having get into a accident and having to phone my insurance company to see if they would covered an ambulance taking me to the hospital, and thinking oh no! What if they won't pay to the ambulance bill, then what?
